More Flowers!

Here are the other pictures I promised of our visit to the mission.
This is the church that the mission padres build. It took them 6 years to build and then within a year there was an earthquake and the church was distroyed never to be built again.
I love to take pictures of flowers. Especially the lillys. Enjoy!

Shane

Shane has been in the navy for awhile now. He is a chef/cook. Right now he is somewhere in the ocean doing something. (They can't tell us!) He works hard and is a great asset to his ship. If it wasn't for him and the crew, all other sailors on the ship would go hungry. Boy, that would NOT be a pretty sight!!! Scarieeeee!!!

Visiting Past History

Just a couple of weeks ago Lynda and I went to San Juan Capistrano Mission. We enjoyed the passed and the fantastic senery of spring. The mission is not only filled with history but beautiful gardens filled with flowers in bloom.
If you like blooming flowers you will love this place. We meant to only spend a few hours there but ended up spending a little bit more time than expected. After going to the mission we went to "Maries" as in Marie Calendars. Yummmmm! Cajon Salmon, Marie's famous cornbread and pie!!! Doesn't it just make your mouth water!!!!!

Enjoy the pictures of the Mission!!! There will be more to come later! :~)
